The Sirmione 10% Photo Marathon 2026 has come to a close, and the jury has selected the four winning photographs that will be included in the exhibition for the 2025 Sirmione Photography Award: WOUND | FERITA, on view at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions through November 8, 2026.
The challenge took place on Sunday, July 19: a single theme and just one hour to interpret it through a single shot. A minimalist format that tests creativity, observational skills, and the ability to interpret quickly.
The theme for the 2026 edition was SIGNS, introduced by the prompt given to participants shortly before the marathon began:
“The wounds in the WOUND | FERITA exhibition are a special kind of trace.
The challenge of the Sirmione 10% Photo Marathon is to go in search of signs. In 60 minutes.
They are everywhere: they may be left by time, nature, or humans.
Some are obvious, others almost invisible, but all tell the story of what happened.”
